A Pink and Green Washington, D.C. Wedding
Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at 11:00AM Janice Carnevale of Bellwether Events sent us this pretty pink and green wedding to really get us in the mood for summer! Karli and Kevin tied the knot at a quintessential location in our nation's capital, The Halcyon House, in the heart of swanky Georgetown. The location offers two totally different feels, historical beauty and stunning views outside and industrial chic inside. Well, the couple didn't let that aspect slide when choosing their decor, picking soft pink peonies (my favorite!) for their ceremony and clean and simple green accents for their reception. We love the idea of changing up your wedding's style as the day progresses, providing a refreshing new look for your guests to enjoy!

When you have a backdrop like that for your "I Do's" you don't need much else! The bridesmaids wore the prettiest shade of green, letting those peonies I love so much completely pop! And have you ever seen a cuter flower girl and ring bearer pair?

Time for the switch! The guests moved inside to enjoy dinner amongst sleek green and white arrangements and an abundance of romantic candles. The sky-high ceilings and soaring columns were swathed in vibrant green lighting to finish off the summer friendly palette!
