Casual Rooftop Wedding in New York
Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at 10:00AM Today's wedding is a true testament to infusing your personality into your wedding day, even if it means throwing all tradition out the window. Emma and Brandon are a laid back, no-fuss couple and they didn't want anything that reflected differently for their wedding. Thus, there was no aisle, no white dress and no bridal party. Instead there was a rooftop and a Brooklyn-infused, true family affair, captured by Casey Fatchett Photography.

Emma's mom did all the flowers, and her father created the marigold necklaces the couple exchanged above. The setting was simple and intimate, an all white loft with pops of flowers in all colors of the rainbow, spotted everywhere from the tables to the windowsills.

After dark, the rooftop was converted to a cozy lounge, with strings of lights hung all around. Guests were invited to enjoy those million dollar views while the couple's entertainment of choice, a local bluegrass band, serinaded them.

It is very refreshing to see a couple stay so true to themselves when planning their wedding, whether that means a big traditional wedding bash, or a mellow rooftop dinner party. Congratulations Emma and Brandon!
