A Colorful California Wedding

Danielle and James didn't choose just one accent color for their wedding, they chose all the colors of the rainbow! Because, why have just one pop of color when you can have all of them!? Their colorful California wedding, photographed by vetted Bridal Bar member Cheriefoto, is so happy and cheerful, from the bridesmaids' dresses spanning the color spectrum to the brides oh-so sparkly Kate Spade shoes.

The couple kept their ceremony decor simple, allowing the bride's primary-color inspired bouquet and the bridal party's attire to be the sole color splashes. And what better a prop for portraits at this fun and bright wedding then a bouquet of balloons?

Lanterns of all hues hung above the cocktail hour space, with vibrant vases of equally vibrant flowers from Bloom Box Designs and adorable striped paper straws spread about the courtyard.

Terranea Resort's Catalina Room was turned into a color wheel come to life as the playful palette continued with ultra-modern, color-blocked arrangements.  Guests were like kids in a candy store, literally, as they snacked on rainbow confections and danced under a rainbow that lasted far beyond sunset!

Congratulations Danielle and James!

Rainbow Inspired Wedding Details

When we stumbled upon this photo by Sara Kauss Photography taken of matching flowers and bridesmaid shoes in a brightly varied palette we FLIPPED!! What a picture perfect idea!  We just had to know the back story and see more of the event, and here is what our detective skills found out…

When Kayla and Ben got engaged, bride-to-be Kayla was inspired by bright, vibrant colors and wanted them to be the focus of their wedding.  She took this theme down to the smallest detail, as even her famous red-soled heels were peppered with multicolored glitter, and her ring was colored as well!

The bride wore a dress by Pronovias, and her jewelry was gifts from her Father-in-law, a collector of rare stones- what a lucky girl!

Kala knew that having a Palm Beach wedding in January often involved a very crisp, clean palate of whites, but instead of opting with the traditional Kayla wanted her wedding to be defined by gorgeous shades of color. With the help of her florist, Kim Henry of Garden Party, her vision became a reality: a beautiful and colorful wedding. A myriad of blooms were brought in for the big day from all over the world, including Holland and South America. Each Bridesmaid had a different color bouquet that matched her unique custom-dyed high-heeled shoes.

The reception was held at The Colony Hotel in Palm Beach where tables continued the color theme with a specific palette chosen for each table.

Lots of kids at this family affair!  From young to old, a great time was clearly had by all surrounded by such vibrant colors!
